The best landing drop for the tee shot of this dogleg left hole is on the right side of the hill on the left side of the fairway. Most golfers may play the narrow and slightly raised green with long irons or woods. A long, large bunker starts about 100 yards from the fairway to the green and extends along the lake's edge to the green, preventing any ball that misses the drop from easily falling into the water. Bunkers to the right of the front of the green make the fairway appear narrow, but do not pose much of an obstacle to going on the green.
