Hole # 10

This is a straight forward par 5 playing south that allows players to quickly get away from the starter. A long shallow bunker separates the left side of the fairway from the lake on the left. This water shouldn't come into play but for the extremely miss hit shot. There's a far right side bunker that won't come into play off the tee except for the longest hitters that are trying to take advantage of the left to right side slope just beyond the landing area. Players that find this bunker will have a difficult time making it to the green in 2 shots.Favor the right side of the fairway in order to avoid the water on the left and you will find the best approach into the green. The bunker on the left and water makes going for the green into a risky proposition. The players that lay-up and hits a short wedge has an easier shot than one that misses the green trying to go for it in 2 shots. The large green has subtle undulations that make putting interesting. There is a long meandering bunker on the left separating the green from the lake. The green slopes slightly towards the bunker and lake with pin positions close to the left edge. The resulting lake-ward slope makes a pitch, chip, or long putt in that direction intimidating.
