Hole # 17

At 163 yards, this is the shortest hole. It is also, for most players, will become one of the toughest and intimidating. The most obvious contributor to those sentiments is the very shallow green set diagonally to the line of play. It is fronted by bunkers and a lake and backed by a steep cliff. The less obvious strategy to this hole is the wind created by the valley that crosses through this hole. The back left pin will be the most tricky pin placement because anything missed left will be three steps from going into the water. When the pin is in the back it's safer to hit it over the middle bunker and two putt than risk going over the edge into the lake.
